Canadian Wood Pellets
Valiant International Inc. has been exporting Canadian Wood Pellets for over 20 years. Canadian wood pellets are manufactured exclusively from 100% wood fibre. At no point, is any other substance added to the product during the pelleting process with the exception of clean water. The wood fibre used for these pellets is Pine Whitewood with very small traces of White Fir. Our wood fibre is sourced from local sawmills in which no preservatives or anti-stain chemicals are used.
Production
During the process of production, the raw material enter a rotary drier and heated to 800 degree F. The sawdust remains in the drier for 5 minutes, giving it a crore temperature of 160 degrees F. The sterile sawdust is then pressed through a pellet die at approx. 35,000 PSI. During this procedure the pellets reach a core temperature of 220 degrees F. Our pellets are then stored in bins, stabilizing temperature and moisture levels until ready for export.
